Anton Hoelstad

Anton Hoelstad is a Danish Google Ads specialist based in Copenhagen. He has worked with Google Ads since 2010, when he started advertising for his own webshop. He advises clients through his own company, Bullitt Ventures ApS, and is a co-founder of Zoliro, a CSS partner for Google Shopping.

Career

  1. 2010His own webshop, and his first campaigns in Google AdWords, as Google Ads was called then.
  2. 2011-2013MSc in Economics and Business Administration (cand.merc.) with a concentration in marketing at Copenhagen Business School.
  3. 2013-2017In-house specialist at Bownty, Autobutler and Philipson Wine.
  4. 2017-2020Self-employed Google Ads consultant, including the Google Ads in the campaign for the NemID key app.
  5. 2020-2023Co-founder and partner in the agency 1260 A/S, which was sold in 2023.
  6. TodayGoogle Ads consultant through Bullitt Ventures ApS, and co-founder of Zoliro.

From November 2019 to June 2020 he ran the Google Ads in the national campaign for the NemID key app (Nøgleappen), as a subcontractor to the agency that won the tender. The campaign was commissioned by Finance Denmark and the Agency for Digital Government, the app was downloaded more than 550,000 times during the campaign period, and Google was the channel that contributed most (the case, in Danish). Companies he has worked with include Magasin, Oticon, Philips, Miinto, Lagkagehuset, Autobutler and Skagerak.

Zoliro

Disclosure: Anton is a co-founder of Zoliro.

Zoliro is a CSS partner (Comparison Shopping Service) for Google Shopping in 21 European markets. It works on a no cure, no pay basis: Zoliro pays for the ads up front, and the shop pays a share of the sales that are created. Zoliro is a separate business from Anton's consulting work. The name Bullitt

Bullitt Ventures is named after Anton's car, a 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback GTA, which has been his dream car since he was ten.

This site

Anton's Paid Search Tools collects free tools for Google Ads, Google Shopping and CSS. The tools run in the visitor's browser, without cookies or tracking, and nothing typed or uploaded is sent anywhere. The site is the English-language companion to antonhoelstad.dk, which is Anton's Danish site and the home of his consulting work.
